Mental Health and Substance Use Care

MVP’s Harmonious Health Care Plan® provides Medicaid Managed Care members with their health care, in addition to services for behavioral health. The plan works with providers who have a lot of experience treating people who may need mental health and/or substance use care to get healthy and stay healthy. We also provide care management services that help you and your health care team to work together to keep you as healthy as possible. 

Behavioral Health Services 

The MVP Harmonious Health Care Plan offers Behavioral Health Home and Community Based Services (BHHCBS) to members who qualify. These services may help you: 

• Find a Job 
• Find Housing 
• Get help from people who have been there 
• Live Independently 
• Manage Stress 
• Prevent Crises 
• Return to School 

As a member of the MVP Harmonious Health Care Plan, you will also have a Health Home Care manager who will work with your physical and behavioral health providers to pay special attention to all your health care needs. The Health Home Care manager will help to make sure you get the medical, behavioral health, and social services you may need.
